Our story

Manfred, an Army veteran during the Vietnam era, and Nancy, a real estate broker and residential property manager for more than 20 years met in 2011 and were married on 11-11-11.  The business idea started soon after that when Manfred and Nancy were cleaning out houses and Manfred had a lightbulb go off!  He could salvage and sell some of the weird stuff that tenants left behind.  He opened his first store at Willowstone off Garden of the Gods.  He later moved his wares to Lucky Ducky off Platte Ave., leading him to start selling at the Colorado Springs Flea Market.  His success in the first year led to a permanent space at the Flea Market for several years and he became a well-known vendor.  In March 2023, Manfred and Nancy started searching for a building to house the Oddball Store Music and More.  While looking in Old Colorado City, they found a space to buy that they transformed into their store. Oddball Store Music and More opened its doors on August 12, 2023, and has been steadily increasing its presence as the go-to store in OCC for vinyl, nostalgia, collectibles, musical instruments, and many other oddball items from the 1800s to the modern day.
